Veerawit Tianchainan is a human rights advocate who has about 20 years of experiences working in various roles in Thailand and in international stage i.e. UN High Commission for Refugees, Country Director of US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and Founder and Executive Director of Thai Committee for Refugees Foundation. Recently, he joined Wattana Seree Foundation as Executive Director. He also served in regional and national advisory board of networks focused on migration and human rights as well as alliances on child’s rights and counter trafficking in persons. With his business background, he brings in business and management perspectives to the works of Not-for-Profit organizations along with his keen interest on latest Information Technologies. He frequently speak at national, regional and international fora as well as interviewed by international and national media on human rights situation of refugees, stateless persons, survivors of human trafficking and supporting campaign to end child detention.
