Ashish is the Resilient WASH Coordinator with Oxfam in Bangladesh. He has experience of working with Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian emergencies both for urban and rural areas in the country.
He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Dhaka and Masters in Social Science (MSS) from National University. His areas of expertise include partnership management, project management and capacity development and he especially likes humanitarian work.
He has been with Oxfam since 2009. Before that he worked for two national NGOs, namely NGO Forum and Dhaka Ahsania Mission. He has also worked for HelpAge International. Prior to that he has been cultural activist, a member secretary of Songshoptaque, an organisation for culture and literature and also worked as member secretary of Kobi O Kobita Parished in Chittagong.
