Dr. Myo Myint Aung joined PATH in 2015 as a project director with the Mekong Regional Program, where he leads the introduction of fortified rice in Myanmar. He is committed to improving the health of the Myanmar people from the ground up. His experience in the nonprofit sector includes design, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and project management roles in maternal and child health, nutrition, food security, and livelihood programs. Before joining PATH, Myo worked in the private sector and has international experience in hospital administration, management consulting, strategic planning, business development, and operational excellence. At Merlin and Mercy Corps, he led M&E units and advised partners on M&E framework development, design, and implementation of baselines, assessments, and evaluations. Myo is a certified project management professional by Project Management Institute and holds an MBBS from the University of Medicine Magway, an entrepreneurial MBA from the Portland State University, and a MHA from the University of Washington.
