Ernesto Castro-Garcia is Director of Regional Programs for the Asia-Pacific region of Habitat for Humanity International. As team leader for the department, he provides support in program strategy and business planning, governance, operational support, tracking and monitoring of national programs, and representation of Habitat in national board of directors. Ernesto has more than 15 years of experience with Habitat, having had roles in disaster response in the Latin America Office as well as director of the tsunami response in Thailand. Ernesto has a master’s degree in International Relations from the National University, Heredia, Costa Rica.
