Samantha Newman is the Coordinator of the UNHCR Regional Centre for Emergency Preparedness (eCentre). She has 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector working with the Red Cross, NGOs and UN agencies at field, regional and HQ levels. She has worked in conflict contexts including as a UNICEF child protection specialist in West Darfur in 2009/2010. She has a BA(Hons) and LLB (University of NSW) and an LLM (Columbia University).
