Shashank Mishra is carrying more than 6 years of experience in DRR and CCA and currently working as Disaster Risk Reduction Programme Manager with UN-Habitat, Myanmar. Shashank graduated in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy and also received advanced certification in DRR & CCA from India and Switzerland. In the past, he worked with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Govt. of India, UNISDR Geneva, Rockefeller foundation's Asian Cities Climate Research Network (ACCCRN) program in India and Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. His expertise lies in vulnerability and risk assessment, urban resilience, capacity building, risk index and indicators development, climate change adaptation and post-disaster reconnaissance study. He has also served as resource person to various organizations such as UNDP, NDMA, UN-SPIDER etc. in different capacities
